Connecting a Zune to an cd deck with Ipod control?

Hi guys,
I am about to buy an aftermarket CD stereo(most likely an alpine) which has Ipod control. You know, the ones that have a cable running from the back of the stereo to the glove box. Since I dont have an Ipod but rather a Zune, I was looking for a Ipod to Zune converter and I came across this product.

This allows you to connect your zune instead of an Ipod. Now my question is, do you think this will work? I know I can just connect it via AUX but I would rather want to control it from my headunit than looking at my zune, everytime i want to change the song.

This is the headunit I am going to get(if it makes any difference)

congrats on the zune i have a 30 gig an love it. i have hooked my player to my tv but havent done it to the stereo. my suggestion is to go to sites like zuneforums or zunescene . thats where i got the step by step directions for hooking my zune to my tv. i have to change things on my player but i dont have a remote either.
